Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. Our staff are highly trained and experienced in child care service to support children's early learning. Our staff are required to have: Alberta Childcare Certificate, Police Clearance, First Aid training, and a Reference Check to provide the maximum protection and safety to our children.
SERVICES WE OFFER
FULL-TIME CHILDCARE
At Webber Greens Daycare & Out of school care, we offer full-time care to younger children from age of 0 months up to 12 years old. Our facility has six separate rooms for all age groups: Infants, Toddlers, Junior Preschool, Preschool, Pre-Kinder and School age group. We offer a variety of indoor activities and outdoor opportunities for children of all age groups to participate in and experience joyful and interesting learning. Outdoor activities include park plays and neighborhood walks to promote physical development and Indoor activities include sensory and art, craft, music, reading, circle, learning theme discussions & much more.
OUT OF SCHOOL CARE & TRANSPORTATION
We provide Out of school care service to the children up to Grade 5 or 12 years old attending half day or full day schools. We provide transportation service to Winterburn Elementary Public school and Bishop David Motiuk Catholic school. We have designated, labeled and certified vans to transport your child safely. All drivers undergo training and a driving history is reviewed to ensure safety. Vehicles will be checked and maintained regularly by a certified mechanic.
We also offer full day DROP-IN care during PD days and spring/ Fall/ Summer breaks at schools.
SUMMER PROGRAM
We offer a variety of activity programs during the summer months. Those activities help families reduce mental stress while schools are closed.
If you don't require year-round childcare for your school going child, but want your child busy during summer vacation. We offer a summer program that is full of fun activities including indoor and outdoor field trips and full day care. Parents will be provided with a pre-scheduled copy of summer program and also inform about the special instructions, requirements or change/reschedule a day ahead for each activity.
MEALS
At Webber Greens Daycare, We understand that a healthy body is necessary for the growing development of children. Our on-site chef prepares healthy hot lunches and two snacks daily, following the Canada Food Guide, ensuring that they are both nutritious and delicious!

- We have an alternating two week Menu and we keep it updated seasonally.
- Children attending Grade 1 and above receive breakfast and pm snack.
- Children attending half day kindergarten and the age below receive breakfast, home made hot lunch and pm snack.
- Children below the age of 18 months receive spare snack in the morning and afternoon in between the regular meals.
- We also allow the parents to send healthy, NUT-FREE snacks from home if they wish to.
READINESS FOR KINDERGARTEN
Preparing a preschooler for kindergarten is an important step to ensure a smooth transition to school. Children enrolled at Webber Greens will not require additional preschool classes to prepare for Kindergarten. We help the children prepare for Kindergarten by teaching them Skills (Developing proper Pencil Grip, using scissors, self care, confidence), Language and Math (recognizing, writing and counting numbers, uppercase and lowercase letter recognition, writing their own name, learn Phonics sounds, reading picture books), Art (learn about primary and secondary colors), Science (the body and health, plants and animals), Social (Weather, climate, seasons, the Solar System); and much more.
INCLUSIVE CHILDCARE
We offer quality, inclusive child care to children of all abilities and diversities, they have equitable access to our programs and we support them in learning through playing with their peers in a regular program to supports the individual strengths and needs of each child to participate meaningfully in all aspects of the childcare. We also work with Govt and community based organizations e.g., GRIT, Community Options, FSCD and more to support the children and families
Hi MAMA SUBSCRIBER
We are registered with an exciting program called
Lillio formerly called HiMama!
HiMama will be used by our educators to record activities and to document updates throughout the day. HiMama will keep you in the loop- all day long! Whether it be at work, home, or on the go; through Hi-Mama's mobile app, you’ll never miss a moment! You will be able to send a quick message directly to your child's educator or Centre's office and will be able to mark your child absent for the day from home.
FEES & SUBSIDY
Our childcare fees vary depending on the age of your child.
- Canada Affordability Grant is available for all registered children attending half day Kindergarten and the age below.
- Alberta childcare Subsidy is available for eligible families since its based on your family income.

- To be eligible for Full Grant and approved subsidy the child is required to attend a minimum of 100 hours per month.
- Children attend OSC program are required to attend 50 hours per month to receive approved subsidy for the child.
